It’s a New Day In Distant Illusion Lands
Hello! Welcome to our brand new blog. According to ancient historians, blogs were something that people used to “write” into for other people to “read” later on. Whatever that means. We don't do those things anymore.
A few weeks ago, we here at Distant Illusions, ran an impromptu gallup poll to gauge general interest from users and random people on how audiences perceive Distant Illusions, and the results were as follows: 10% rated us “Lame as balls”, 5% rated us as “Who cares, you guys don't have any games anyway”, and the remaining 75% rated us as "Who the fuck are you?! Get off my lawn!". Now, in the name of openness, I'll have to state that I've discounted the shotgun blasts let out by the latter percentage out of the calculations. While the shotguns' voices were loud and delivered a clear message, they also cannot be counted as a legal majority human voices. In order to improve our standing with the rest of the world, we bring you this blog.
I don't really have that much to say right now, cuz we're still working on the games, and the games at this stage are less pleasing to look at than your brother after he's spent all weekend gaming without a single break. And the rest is covered by NDAs. Real exciting stuff. But I promise, there's a whole lot more to come soon enough! We're gonna kick the internet's ass, and those 70% of people are going to know who we are, put their shotguns away and say, “Okay fine, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't trample all over the flowers, my wife's gonna kill me.”
In the meantime, if you're interested in also video games and also more blathering, you can follow us on social media (links down in the bottom left corner!) and wishlist Operius DX on Steam and also soon-ish on eShop. I wish we had an RSS feed too.
Distant Illusions out! (For now.)
