Who Are We?
We are Distant Illusions, a small but fiercely passionate game development team from Europe. Forged in the fires of online forums and freeware development, we have a long history of producing (weird) games for our own and others' amusement.
Our goal is to bring a variety of spice, pizzazz, and personal touch to games that will make you smile, laugh, and maybe even feel something along the way!
So far in our journey, we've had the opportunity to develop games for the Nintendo Switch, share our creations at Gamescom, and collaborate with partners like Opera, who generally agree that we are, in fact, pretty alright dudes. But this is just the beginning. We've got so much more in the tank, and we're not stopping anytime soon.
In short, we love video games. We hope you do too.

Technology
Radium is our totally awesome game engine, designed specifically to recreate the looks and feel of games from the late 90s to early 2000s.
With a robust set of APIs and tools optimized for creating stylistic 3D games, Radium emphasizes efficiency and allows us to create fun and unique gameplay experiences, all without the complexity of traditional game engine workflows.
While Radium's focus is at more simplistic 3D titles, it's also versatile enough to be adapted for basic 2D games and even more modern-looking titles that leverage non-photorealistic rendering techniques.
Right now, Radium is our secret weapon, a private engine that's only intended for internal use. Our upcoming 3D platformer is going to be the first game to run on it, and we can't wait to share more about it in the future!
